Today we’d like to introduce you to Evgeniya Garza
Hi Evgeniya, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
From an early age I was very fond of art and dreamed of becoming an artist. My life turned out so that I became a teacher, but at the same time in my heart I remained an artist and often used my creativity in work with children. Since 2007 me and my family has lived and work in USA and currently based in Houston TX. I work in variety of media including painting, drawing and digital illustrating. Also I been represented by Art For The People Gallery since 2020, and had participate multiple times in group exhibitions at the gallery in Austin TX.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
No, I always love to do art and not planning to stop being creative , a specially in the hard times.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I work in variety of media including painting, drawing and digital illustrating. My work have been represented by Art For The People Gallery since 2020, and had participate multiple times in group exhibitions at the gallery in Austin TX. Also Im proud to be a mom of two awesome boys who’s 21 and 12 years old.
How do you define success?
For me, success is: when you can do what you love.
