Check Out Creamatic’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Creamatic

Hi creamatic, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
Born and raised in Houston, music has always been around me. Since a kid, I remember taking drives with my parents to school or wherever and there was always something playing on the radio or a CD.
In elementary, I took up the percussion and that kind of started my entry in music.
In middle school , I left band and I was put in choir. I wasn’t too interested with it but it was one of the main reasons why I don’t get stage fright.
After 9th grade, I really didn’t want to do anything with music til I heard one of my homies rapping and I’m like oh word? I gotta try that. Downloaded SoundCloud , found some instrumentals and started putting words together.
My homie fatboy Gaddi had a mic and audacity so i started like that.
Since 2015, I’ve been perfecting my craft. Did shows around the city, got book in Atlanta in 2019 , and even help the homies put together some shows.
Music is my life at this point and I don’t see myself doing anything else but this.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It’s been a bumpy road being im an independent artist and having to deal with life issues. Being that I work a 9-5, music takes time. I’m usually working on music after work and mainly on the weekends. The way I got better with my flow and breathing is by practicing my verses at work being a lot of machinery is happening. Then you have car issues and bills, it never ends but hey I’m breathing.

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe next you can tell us a bit more about your work?
I work at a flooring company. I manage the carpet department from stocking inventory, shipping and receiving, to loading up customers with the product.
I work with my pops and make a decent living. Can’t be too mad.

So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
Impact and longevity means alot to me because I want my music to last a lifetime. I see a lot of folks who came and went and didn’t do much but live the moment.
Impact, you know change the game with my music and try new things to exceed my career.
Longevity, have so much work that you can pick out the era I was living in.
