Hi Syvae, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I started content creation as an outlet for my creative talents. I used social media as a way to connect and share content with my peers. As someone who loves fashion and apart of the midsize community, I wanted to create a space to inspire and spark the creativity in other women who look and relate to me.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Social media is never a smooth road, there are always bumps and hiccups along the way. My most recent challenge was taking the plunge to start my social media over, from scratch. Starting from ground zero, again, can be very daunting. My goal is to find and build a community of women that support and inspire each other to have the confidence to walk in their light.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
Although I aspire to be full time creator, I currently do work in the corporate world. I currently create as a part time creator in the nooks and crannies of my days and weekends. Although very taxing, being able to create, genuinely brings me joy.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
I love to take inspiration from other creators and blog posts, that keep me updated with the latest fashion trends.
