Today we’d like to introduce you to Zinnia Mobarak.

Zinnia Mobarak

Hi Zinnia, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
When I was young I used to collect the old financial pamphlets companies would send in the mail. I would save them for during the week to highlight and pretend I was performing executive business decisions. Both of my parents were business owners and with the freedom and stability they had I knew I was meant to do the same. Contemplating a route in medicine was quickly shut down whenever COVID rolled around. My attention was brought to a trade program of massage therapy. Instantly, I knew it was what I was meant to do. I have not looked backed since diving into the world of movement and muscles. I feel so grateful to wake up and add a positive impact into women’s lives. Physical pain and tension can be some of the most uncomfortable feelings and my business helps with that.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
At the beginning of my career I started out at a spa. The dynamic of massage chains will grind a massage therapist to the bone. Within 6 months of working I faced a wrist injury. After recovery I decided something needed to change and took the leap of faith to start my mobile business. Starting out mobile had a few hiccups. Not everyone trusted me in their home or vice versa. As a brand new service provider the need for your services can fluctuate. Navigating stability during the first year of my business was not easy but those lessons learned have served me well. Moving into an office building was a big step for my business but it was very much needed. I was on the brink of burnout for second time from the physical intensity of mobile work. Since then I am so happy to have created my dream office space and hope to continue to take intentional strides with my business.
