Thanks for sharing your story with us DeAnna. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Have you ever read the ingredients on the skin care/lotion you use? Think about what all those chemicals are doing to you! I did, which is why I used my training as a Certified Natural Health Professional (CNHP) and began making my own skin care products, starting with lotions and lip balms. I began giving them to family and friends as a gift.
They loved it so much they began encouraging me to start selling to the public, So, in 2015 I began selling at the market days on the square in Georgetown, TX. As the months went on, I began growing my product line.
Today, we are in eight consignment stores throughout Central Texas. Our products include lotions, lip balms, bath bombs, sunscreen, bug spray, pet products and so much more! All of our products are made with all-natural/organic ingredients and 100% pure, unadulterated essential oils. There are no synthetic ingredients or parabens in any of our products.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The main struggle has been working a full-time job, caring for my family, and growing my business.
So, as you know, we’re impressed with Natural Traditions – tell our readers more, for example what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
We produce all-natural skin care products using natural/organic ingredients. All of our products are chemical-free and have no synthetic ingredients whatsoever. Everything we produce is healthy and soothing for the skin. We use only 100% pure, unadulterated essential oils. Some of our blends are calming while others are invigorating. We are mainly known for our skin care – lotions, lip balms, bath bombs. We also have personal care products including sunscreen, after sun spray, hand sanitizer, and bug spray; however, we are expanding with pet products and yoga essential oil blends. Our plan is to introduce a mineral makeup line by the end of 2018.
So, what’s next? Any big plans?
We are planning to introduce a mineral makeup line and men’s products, including shave cream, beard oil, and aftershave, by the end of 2018.
