I began my career in professional sports, working with organizations like the New Orleans Saints and Houston Astros, where I built invaluable connections. These relationships paved the way for my transition into private aviation, leading me to establish Jet King International. The early days weren’t without challenges, but through relentless persistence and a focus on exceptional service, I grew the business into what it is today. Now, Jet King thrives, and I’m proud to bring luxury experiences to clients while also representing African Americans in an industry where we are often underrepresented.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Starting Jet King International came with plenty of hurdles. One of the biggest struggles was breaking into the aviation industry, which is highly competitive and requires strong relationships. I had to work hard to earn the trust of clients and prove that Jet King could deliver the top-tier service they expected. There were financial challenges, too, especially in the early stages. But through persistence, a focus on networking, and staying committed to quality service, I was able to overcome those obstacles.

Building Jet King International has given me the chance to pursue my passion while creating something meaningful. I find joy in watching the company grow, forming new relationships, and knowing I’m inspiring others along the way. At the end of the day, what really drives me is seeing the results of hard work and leaving a lasting legacy.
