Today we’d like to introduce you to Latrice Brantley
Hi LaTrice, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
My passion for aesthetics began at an early age. I was about 13 when I realized I loved makeup, so I was allowed to start wearing eyeshadows and lip gloss. As I grew older, the passion grew deeper and I begin to study my craft. I studied other beauty influencers, I attended YouTube university full time lol. I really had a longing to learn more about my craft. I officially launched my business in 2016, Beyond Beautiful. I did makeup on weekends and I also hosted a few local beauty events, I’ve continued to cultivate my craft, and recently rebranded and renamed my company BB Aesthetics. The BB stands for beyond beautiful because I still wanted to incorporate my original brand. I have went on to study cosmetology briefly, and I took a lash certification course to learn more about the industry. It’s been a remarkable journey and I’m still learning and growing, and I hope to become a great asset to the industry.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
My greatest obstacle on this journey was myself, unfortunately. I had some doubts about whether or not I was good enough. Sometimes that doubt hindered me from following through and also caused me to devalue my work.
At one point, I also felt very uneducated on the marketing aspect of the industry, so building clientele was a struggle for me, but I’m still learning and working towards perfecting these flaws.
As you know, we’re big fans of you and your work. For our readers who might not be as familiar what can you tell them about what you do?
I’m here to help people look and feel their absolute best with expert lash, nail, and makeup services tailored just for them. Whether they’re preparing for a special event, a night out, or just need a little self-care. My goal is to create a personalized experience, ensuring every client leaves feeling confident, happy, and pampered.
I am most proud of my will to continue at this passion. It’s easy to give up, but fighting through tough times and staying the course, it brings me pride and confidence. Everything that I’ve learned thus far, excites me for my future and I’m proud of myself for discovering my passion and gift and actually perusing it, in the name of following my dreams.
What sets me apart in my services, is that I give my clients their desires. Many follow trends when they’re running their business, but my goal is to make my clients happy over anything. My goal has always been to help people discover their beauty from the inside out. Yes, the aesthetics industry is about physical appearance, but my mission has always been to boost people’s confidence from the inside out. I give them an experience of joy and love, and that’s what’s most important to me.
What are your plans for the future?
I am looking to expand my clientele, and I would like to have a brick and mortar location. Meanwhile, I’m going to continue to network, continue to share my artistry on social media, and keep working hard. I am a mother of three, and my ultimate goal is to be a positive role model for my girls and to show them a great experience in life overall.
