Hi Brandie, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
Jai Renaé Events was born from a deeply personal journey. As a mother, wife, and proud grandmother, I began working with balloons as a way to manage stress and cope with unexpected panic attacks. What started as a therapeutic hobby quickly evolved when a close friend asked me to decorate her daughter’s graduation party. That experience lit a spark within me and uncovered a hidden passion for event design that I never knew existed.
Since then, creating beautiful, unforgettable events has become my dream and my purpose. Every celebration we design is fueled by love, creativity, and the joy of bringing someone’s vision to life. The name Jai Renaé is a heartfelt tribute to my two daughters, blending their middle names into something unique and meaningful. It felt like fate when the name came to me—it perfectly represents the heart behind everything we do.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
The journey of Jai Renaé Events has been anything but easy—it’s been slow, sometimes disappointing, but always filled with purpose. As a fairly new business in the world of event design, we haven’t yet reached the level we’re striving for: a full-scale design production company. We know the talent, creativity, and dedication we bring to the table, but breaking into an industry dominated by well-established names with 10+ years of experience has been a challenge.
Still, we remain grateful. Every client who has trusted us with their special day means the world to us. Their belief in our vision keeps us going, and with each event, we grow stronger, more creative, and more determined. We may not be where we want to be—yet—but with God on our side, a loyal client base, and unwavering commitment to our craft, we know we’ll get there.
