Today we’d like to introduce you to Brian Crocker.
Brian, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
It all started back at the end of 2015 when my entrepreneurial passion and desire to learn website creation collided paths. I knew with my management background and my wife’s obsessive cleaning habits that starting a residential cleaning company would be a great idea and with a bit of hard work we could probably do pretty well.
So that is exactly what we did. We made a $500 total investment in website, supplies, and business cards. Now we are one of the larger cleaning companies in the greater Houston area.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
For us, figuring out the marketing aspect was our biggest hurdle to overcome. If you don’t get clients you don’t really have a business. This took a ton of time and testing to figure out how we can acquire a new client for a low enough cost to still offer a very affordable cleaning. Fortunately, we have all marketing channels figured out and firing on all cylinders into 2018!
Alright – so let’s talk business. Tell us about That’s Clean Maids – what should we know?
We are a residential cleaning company. We now handle house cleaning, carpet cleaning, and tile and grout cleaning.
From 2 years to today, we have become one of the larger cleaning companies around Houston with 16 cleaning teams. We are honored to have been voted #1 maid service for both 2016 and 2017 by living magazine.
We are always looking to improve our service and customer experience. We are really a technology company that happens to clean homes. Our Clients enjoy our automated software, customer sign-in portal and mobile application. Think Uber but for maids. Working hard and doing a great job for our clients. We know word of mouth and reviews play a huge part of any company’s success so we take it very seriously. We also offer a 100% guarantee. If you book one of our flat rate cleaning packages and you’re not happy we will come back and do a reclean for free.
