Good morning Magaly, we’re so happy to have you here with us and we’d love to explore your story and how you think about life and legacy and so much more. So let’s start with a question we often ask: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
My TikTok audience has been requesting me to appear more and talk more on my videos . To be honest I’ve always been shy to appear in camera or to talk in public . So this is a little hard for me .
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
Welcome to Delightful Sweets and Treats a home based bakery . Where everything is made fresh and with lots of love by me Magaly Rosalinda Benítez. Custom cakes and treats for all type of events are created . I am currently working with new material / production and collabs with other home Buissness owners .
Appreciate your sharing that. Let’s talk about your life, growing up and some of topics and learnings around that. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I used to be a mommy of 2 before I started my home based bakery. So I was pretty much ok with working for a company from 8-5 pm . The same hard working mom / spouse and daughter as I am now . Just working for someone else’s dream instead of mine .
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
I would tell my younger me :
God’s timing is perfect. He knows when to give you things and put you in your place. But do everything you do 100% and finish every project you start.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What’s a belief or project you’re committed to, no matter how long it takes?
I’m committing to my audience to post more content with me or my voice on them . It will take some time for me but I will get there .

My mom signed me up for cosmetology classes after High School and I did it to please her. But I didn’t like it and didn’t pursue my career. I then decided I wanted a 8-5 shift .
For 5 years I decided to work at an Aviation Interior Plating Company as a Quality Assurance Assistant and left it to start a new journey as a Confectioner.
Now that I have this profession, I’ve realized this is what I was born to do. This is my profession. Every day I try to improve and do the best I can. Every assignment brings me joy and enthusiasm because there’s always something different or new to me .
