Victoria Plasencia Interiorismo was born from the desire to create unique design solutions that go beyond aesthetics, focusing on the well-being, comfort, and lifestyle of every client. From the very beginning, my vision has been to transform lives through interior design by shaping spaces that truly elevate how people live and feel.
After more than fourteen years of professional experience, I officially founded the studio in 2014 in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. From day one, the approach has been deeply human and highly personalized, with a passion for creating interiors that are both timeless and soulful. Over the years, this vision led us to design award-winning projects that reflect our belief in design as a tool for transformation.
In 2022, we took an important step forward by opening our first branch office in Houston, Texas. This expansion allowed us to bring our philosophy of luxury design with purpose to the U.S. market, connecting with new clients while staying true to our essence: creating spaces that improve lives.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
The road has definitely not always been smooth, but every challenge has been an important part of the journey. Like many entrepreneurs, I faced the uncertainty that comes with starting a business — building trust with clients, creating a strong team, and positioning the studio in a highly competitive industry. There were also moments when balancing creativity with the demands of running a company felt overwhelming.
One of the biggest challenges was expanding internationally. Opening our office in Houston meant understanding a new market, adapting to different expectations, and proving ourselves all over again, while still maintaining the essence of our brand.
What has made the difference is surrounding myself with the right people — talented, positive, and passionate professionals who share the same vision. Each struggle has taught me resilience, adaptability, and the importance of staying true to my purpose: creating interiors that improve people’s lives.

We specialize in high-end residential projects with a holistic approach that blends functionality, aesthetics, and energy flow. What sets us apart is the way we truly listen to our clients and guide them through a personalized experience from start to finish. Each project is tailored to reflect the essence of those who will inhabit it, creating homes that are not only sophisticated and innovative, but also warm, balanced, and enduring.
Our designs are recognized for being timeless and functional, favoring sober elegance over fleeting trends. We incorporate principles such as feng shui and holistic interiorism to ensure that every detail contributes to harmony and quality of life.
Brand-wise, I am most proud of the trust our clients place in us and the reputation we’ve built both in Mexico and internationally. After more than 20 years of experience, opening our Houston office in 2022 was a milestone that allowed us to expand our vision to the U.S. market and continue sharing our philosophy of “design with purpose.”

Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
What truly makes me happy is knowing that through my work, I was able to create a positive change in someone’s life. When a client tells me that their home now feels like a sanctuary, that their family dynamics have improved, or that they feel more at peace and inspired in their daily life because of the spaces we designed, that is the greatest reward.
For me, interior design goes beyond aesthetics — it’s about healing, balance, and well-being. Seeing how a thoughtful environment can help someone feel calmer, healthier, or more connected to their loved ones reminds me why I do what I do. Knowing that a project not only elevated the design of a space but also improved the way people live and feel is what brings me the deepest happiness.
