Jose, it’s always a pleasure to learn from you and your journey. Let’s start with a bit of a warmup: What are you being called to do now, that you may have been afraid of before?
At this very moment im in the process of building a futbol agency business for youth athletes needing mentorship on and off the soccer pitch. I was never afraid to do anything the problem would fall under afraid of starting something and never finish. Which is a problem I would have before. The energy is there for a while then it goes away. As of right now I have started something good and have not stopped because Im finally using my gifts with a purpose.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Jose E. Orozco the CEO and founder of CFX Conquer Futbol X. A once private training sessions for youth athletes, which is now going public for every youth to have access through the network we have. I’ve been a soccer athlete my entire existence and I have never stopped playing competitive or high level. It’s still a start-up company on its way to growth and network connections here in Houston Texas. Truth, is I created this company for athletes that didn’t have a serious training partner or didn’t have someone to push their limits on and off the pitch. A man is only as great in the game as he is in life. I had a hard time finding serious soccer partners when I was young and ambitious. With the idea of going pro and having someone push me even when I wanted to give up. I had to practically annoy and brag family members to train with me or at least kick the ball back and forth to get the ball rolling, the brainstorm rolling, get the fire going and the competitive edge awakened. Yet friends and family that I was surrounded with did not have that same ambition or courage to try hard, give 100 percent effort. This company was born for those who need a serious training partner or a mentor that can awaken there soul and energy towards high level athleticism. CFX Conquer Futbol X brings the correct partner/coach you need to stay sharp, and mentally strong through setbacks and obstacles. CFX is connected with European contacts that I have developed over the years of playing at my peak ages and have family members now currently connected to Europe trials and network that can help you achieve the highest soccer level there is in Futbol. But it starts with CFX to get connected, after we did our job you take the reins with your new mental ability and strength to Conquer your life.
Great, so let’s dive into your journey a bit more. What part of you has served its purpose and must now be released?
Great question! this one touched me quickly with a response in mind. Reality is I have put my life in pause and ignored the majority of my life to protecting people I still care for, serving those close to me for more than half of my life without really building anything for myself. Putting my life on hold because I became a man at a very young age doing things and fighting demons for those who could not protect themselves. Always have worry in my mind for those that I still love since I was the older stronger sibling. I was the strength everyone needed when they had no one. After many decades I started to realize it time for me to put my focus and energy on what I’m supposed to do for myself. Learn how to love myself and say NO. I had to become another person letting die the old me therefore I can learn to enjoy my own company and learn what are my gifts. It is true the moment you become someone else, someone better or someone they no longer understand. You lose friends and family. I now understand what losing people in your life means when you level up. This is when you truly realize who was there with you all along through hard times. The numbers are always 1 or 2. So I now release the old me to become what I was always meant to be.
What did suffering teach you that success never could?
How to protect loved ones, people you care about. How to truly serve others through actions and humility even if that means giving a piece of your heart away every time you do something another would never do. When having no guidance or mentorship leads you to become the master of your own mind and emotions. Understanding people’s true intentions and behavior before it happens. Becoming a man at the age of 12 years old that led to many bad choices in your adulthood. These early indicators of struggling and fighting for those who cannot protect themselves teaches how to adapt, survive and move in the world. As I could remember money and resources wasn’t the problem in my childhood. It was waking up every day hoping and praying that I will live once more and survive what my come after 7pm before bedtime.
So a lot of these questions go deep, but if you are open to it, we’ve got a few more questions that we’d love to get your take on. What truths are so foundational in your life that you rarely articulate them?
Having character in your persona, in your behavior. Having the correct attitude towards everything you apporach. It starts with the character you have to build within yourself, putting faith in something higher then yourself. Some of my main core values would be Integrity, self-respect, professionalisim. Knowing when to be yourself and when to adapt and become the person your suppose to be to recieve the next blessing in life. Kowing how to change character at all times to your hightest form to serve others, understand others and accept others. Give yourself first before they open up and give themselves next. Lead with character and leadership that upholds and awakens peoples soul.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What do you understand deeply that most people don’t?
Approaching people with curiosity and empathy first. Learning how to have patience, and actively listening to others when they speak and express a behavior. When someone does something out of character, its usually because of something they are battling internally. If people are angry or mad, its never about you. Its about themselves. If you cant help or serve the person on front of you then, you might need to look within yourself first. Till this day these are vrtuous principles and hard to come across people this way but when you do remember that, this is the best human form we were created for here on earth through God.
