Hi Chise Up, thank you so much for taking time out of your busy day to share your story, experiences and insights with our readers. Let’s jump right in with an interesting one: What are you chasing, and what would happen if you stopped?
Success. Nothing would happen because as long as we are able bodied and healthy we will never stop learning and chasing success.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
We are the hip hop group Chise Up. Founded by recording artists and emcees Daws Lotto and Cognac Classic. Our mission is to drop high quality music with potent bars and substance. Our latest album “Go ILL” with super producer S7NLEE is streaming everywhere now. Deluxe versions of “HD 3” & “The Highlights of the High Life” will be dropping this summer. along with visual from all three projects.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. What was your earliest memory of feeling powerful?
There is nothing like performing live. Being able to rock and interact with the crowd is a feeling like no other.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
There has never been a time when we even thought about giving up or quitting. Even when things are slow or people didn’t believe in us in the beginning we always believed in our talent.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Integrity and being kind. Being high character people is extremely important to us.
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: When do you feel most at peace?
Writing and recording songs. Creating art is something that we feel we were put on this Earth to do.
