Hina, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
Our story began with our love for pets and a belief that every fur baby deserves the same care and happiness we’d want for any member of our family. Our quest led us to Pet Evolution, a franchise devoted to providing the highest best quality foods and treats for dogs and cats. We also take pride in our compassionate groomers who provide professional care in a clean, state-of-the-art facility designed for every pet’s comfort!
In February of last year, we proudly opened our first Pet Evolution location in the wonderful Cypress area. Since then, it has been an incredible journey watching pets thrive and building lasting relationships with the families who trust us with their pets’ care. We are ecstatic to keep learning and growing within our community and continuing to provide exceptional service and healthy foods and treats.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It’s never a smooth road for any new small business. We opened during challenging economic times with higher build-out and operational costs than what we had expected. Building awareness within a community for any new business concept is also a challenge. Competing with big box retailers and online stores has pushed us to focus even more on what sets us apart – personalized service, genuine relationships, and a hands-on approach to every pet’s care. Even with those hurdles, it’s been incredibly rewarding to become a trusted part of this community and help the pets of Cypress “live the good life”.

We are proud to claim that the shelves at Pet Evolution are always stocked with products which are protein rich, contain fruits and vegetables and are from humanely sourced meats. No corn, soy or wheat, free of fillers, artificial flavors and colors.
Our Wellness Associates take the time to get to know your pet, what makes them unique and what products/services will help them have the best life.
The support we provide doesn’t end with healthy food and treats. We focus on the overall wellness of a pet through supplements, tooth care, full-service grooming and bathing, walk-in appointments, self-serve dog wash with a membership program and mobile nail trims.
Pet Evolution focuses on trying to ensure that every customer who walks into our store gets an incredibly outstanding experience and leaves feeling happy and highly satisfied!
We are also the Pet Evolution Regional Developers for the Houston market and are seeking like-minded franchisees who have a passion for pets and their community.
How do you think about luck?
I always believe in Good Luck – things happen for a reason! We feel it was our purpose to serve the pets in our community and that is why we were drawn towards this franchise. This year, we welcomed a little pup named Vito into our family, and it feels like our life wouldn’t be complete without him. He is our good luck charm! It brings us so much joy to be able to get him top quality food from Pet Evolution that helps him live a healthy and happy life and we want to be able to do so for everyone who has a fur baby at home. We have been lucky to have a great team of people on board and for the support we have received in our community. Our love for pets and our wonderful Cypress community has grown ever so stronger since we opened our store last February. We have met so many amazing people along the way and are extremely grateful for our incredible staff, our valuable customers and everyone who has become part of our story!
