Hi Amber, so excited to have you with us today. What can you tell us about your story?
I grew up watching Say Yes to the Dress, so when I applied to become a bridal stylist, I honestly thought it was a long shot! But as a woman who adores fashion, I had to give it a try anyway.
Along with being the opportunity of a lifetime, the timing was also just right. My mother had passed away a few years prior, and she had been my father’s main caretaker. After her passing, my siblings and I really had to step in to help, so I needed to find work closer to home.
That’s when I discovered this lovely boutique—right in my hometown of Old Town Katy! Nestled in the heart of the historic district and surrounded by charming small businesses, it felt like something straight out of a storybook.
The team at Fiancée Bridal Boutique welcomed me with open arms, mentoring me and sharing their bridal expertise. With their support, I was so excited to start this new journey helping brides find their dream dress. That passion really fueled me to learn everything I could—so I can offer every bride the best experience possible as she finds the gown she’ll walk down the aisle in. 🤍
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Because our boutique offers designer bridal gowns, each one is made to be custom-fitted to the special bride! When I first started out as a bridal stylist, one of my biggest challenges was learning the difference between what could be customized and what couldn’t be altered.
I leaned on the incredible resources my team at Fiancée Bridal Boutique provided, and I also began researching on my own at home. I’ve always loved fashion, so it never felt like work to me — I enjoyed every minute of expanding my knowledge so I could better help future brides find their perfect gown. ✨
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
As a bridal stylist, my main responsibilities include scheduling consultations, conducting bridal appointments for brides searching for their dream dress, and offering my expertise to help bring each bride’s vision to life!
