Hi Vonida and Taylor, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
While working out at a local gym, we both started venting about our day jobs and learned that we were both accountants. In 2019, we actually wound up becoming coworkers at a private tax firm. While there, we considered branching out on our own, and in 2020, at the height of the pandemic, we started taking on our own clients. With social distancing in full effect, our idea was to provide virtual accounting and tax services. This idea eventually became the core of our business model, and would also serve as the basis of our mission to help small businesses with their accounting and tax needs.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Although we both have experience owning businesses, when it came to accounting, Taylor and I only had experience as employees. Taking on the role of the owner of a tax firm quickly became our biggest challenge, as we navigated honing in on our primary service and mission, setting competitive pricing, and getting our names out there to the general public.

Our prior experience running our own separate businesses, uniquely positions us to relate to the stresses that come with being a small business owner. Unlike larger CPA firms which often push off work for smaller clients to inexperienced new hires, we’re here to take care of the little guy–ensuring that all of our clients receive the attention they deserve.
