Jimena, we appreciate you taking the time to share your story with us today. Where does your story begin?
I started making customized cookies six years ago as a hobby. I initially baked for my family and friends. I loved seeing how the cookies were a great addition to any event and how people enjoyed them.
I continue studying and learning to improve my technique. Orders started to come in from friends and then by referrals. That is why I decided to create Cookietarian as a small business where I can offer my help to customers to celebrate special events with cookies.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Not a smooth road at all. I knew I had a good product but connecting with potential customers outside my circle of friends was not easy. I had to overcome the obstacles of promoting my product with a very low budget.

I specialize in creating customized cookies.
I work closely with my customers to understand the concept of their event and design cookies that tell the story of their celebration. From customized cutters created for the theme to specific colors selection and style, I strive to provide a product that meets the customer’s vision.
Can you talk to us a bit about happiness and what makes you happy?
I feel so happy with my customers positive feedback. When they mention that the cookies were the wow factor of the event or that I exceeded their expectations, I feel
the effort put in completing the order is rewarded.
