We recently had the chance to connect with Claudia Echeverria and have shared our conversation below.
Hi Claudia, thank you so much for joining us today. We’re thrilled to learn more about your journey, values and what you are currently working on. Let’s start with an ice breaker: What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
My 11 year old beating cancer, Leukemia to be exact in September 16, 2024. Also becoming part of Sky High for Kids Sunday Supper. This Nonprofit profit organization helps children fighting cancer and we love what they are doing and we decided to be part of it as well
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am a natural fighter, believe in love and care for others! Sometimes we forget our own flaws but God is always there to help us! Cooking has saved me and it has given me the opportunity to be able to take care of my child and i am truly grateful and blessed
Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What breaks the bonds between people—and what restores them?
Pain breaks relationships, no body knows how to experience someone else’s pain, yet as healthy humans we need to learn how to cope with that!
I am truly blessed because cooking saved me, having a small business gave me the opportunity to be with my child for every treatment and doctor appointment!
Yes, i lost major clients that at the end it was for the best!
As a Chef/Caterer love and care from colleagues do restore hope!
What have been the defining wounds of your life—and how have you healed them?
Hearing you son has Cancer! Battling together and knowing that cooking gave us hope
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes! I do have a temper like any other Chef but i am true to myself and whoever meets me sees me!
Okay, so let’s keep going with one more question that means a lot to us: If you knew you had 10 years left, what would you stop doing immediately?
Working so hard because at the end family is everything, long hours, stress will not fulfill joy, yes money is very important but without health or love it means nothing
