Today we’d like to introduce you to Adrianna Rubio-Clasen.
Hi Adrianna, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I own 3 business: TEJAS PROTECTION SERVICES
Adrianna’s trailblazing spirit extends far beyond wellness. As the President and CEO of Tejas Protection Services, an ADT Authorized Dealer, she became the only Latina in the United States to own an ADT dealership—a remarkable feat in the male-dominated world of security. Her leadership represents courage, vision, and unshakable determination, proving that women can not only enter industries where they are underrepresented but redefine what leadership looks like within them.
MENOWAKE
When conventional medicine prescribed synthetic hormone therapy, she chose instead to trust in the natural design of the body. Guided by faith and intuition, she discovered the power of wild yam root and developed a cream that would become the foundation of MenoWake.
MenoWake is more than a product—it is a philosophy. It challenges the narrative that menopause signifies decline, reframing it instead as a sacred awakening. Through holistic, herbal support, MenoWake honors the journey of perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause, reminding women that this season is not an ending, but a profound rebirth of body, mind, and spirit.
INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S FEST
With her commitment to community, Adrianna envisioned and founded the International Women’s Fest (IWF)—Houston’s first city-wide festival dedicated entirely to women. More than a celebration, IWF is a movement of recognition, honoring women across seven categories, from cultural impact to diplomatic service, including Women Consulates from around the world.
The festival’s resonance is undeniable, drawing support from powerhouses like Coca Cola, Telemundo, the Houston Texans, Comerica, and The Gonzalez Law Firm LLC. Beyond corporate sponsorships, the festival carries a heartbeat of creativity and unity. Its anthem, “Awaken,” performed by Jazel, Slim Simaa, and Celeste Escobar in collaboration with Up Above Entertainment, amplifies the festival’s call: to rise, to connect, and to awaken empowerment in every woman’s life.
I’m sure it wasn’t obstacle-free, but would you say the journey has been fairly smooth so far?
Launching MenoWake was the hardest because I have zero retail experience. Finding a strategic social media person has been challenging
Great, so let’s talk business. Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Natural remedies for Menopause- I want to change the narrative of menopause. For me, I believe this is a sacred time in a woman’s life, an awakening. MenoWake was birth because I did not want to use HRT/Pellets that may have an adverse effect so I created an entire line of natural products for each symptom. I believe menopause is an awakening, rather than a pause.
We’d love to hear about how you think about risk taking?
Risks are just opportunities that will teach you something important. You must take them in order to grow.
