Today we’d like to introduce you to Abdi Rezaei.
Hi abdi, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
It all started back in July 2010 with a simple conversation between me and my dad. I had some experience in the cleaning industry, and we were talking about starting a business. He looked at me and said, “Why don’t you give janitorial services a shot?” That moment really stuck with me—and we decided to go for it.
In the beginning, we had very little. Just four employees, my personal car, and a lot of determination. Most of our early work was around the Galleria area in Houston. We didn’t have a big setup or resources—we just focused on showing up, working hard, and doing the job right every single time.
Those early days weren’t easy, but they built the foundation of who we are today. Every job mattered, every client mattered, and we treated each opportunity like it could lead to the next one.
Over time, things started to grow. One client turned into another, and slowly we built trust in the community. Today, we manage more than 20 commercial accounts and have a strong team behind us. We specialize in post-construction cleaning, office cleaning, and ongoing janitorial services.
Looking back, it’s amazing to see how far we’ve come—from riding around in my personal car with a small crew to being recognized as one of the best cleaning companies in Houston for the past four years.
But at the core, nothing has really changed. We still carry that same mindset from day one—work hard, stay consistent, and always deliver quality
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. There have been a lot of challenges along the way, both in business and personally.
One of the toughest moments in my life was the day I lost my dad. On that same day, we had a customer call in with a cleaning request. I was going through one of the hardest times emotionally—I was grieving and overwhelmed—but at the same time, I knew I had a responsibility to my business and my clients.
Even while I was in tears, I still managed to handle the situation and make sure the job was taken care of.
That moment really stayed with me. It showed me what it truly means to be committed—not just when things are easy, but when life hits you the hardest. It shaped the way I approach my business today, with a strong sense of responsibility, resilience, and dedication.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
At the core, we provide professional commercial cleaning services, but what we really deliver is reliability and peace of mind for our clients.
We specialize in post-construction cleaning, office cleaning, and routine janitorial services. Post-construction is one of our main strengths—it requires attention to detail, speed, and precision, and that’s where we stand out. We take projects from construction-ready to fully clean, move-in-ready spaces.
Over the years, we’ve built a strong reputation in Houston for being consistent, dependable, and detail-oriented. Our clients trust us to deliver quality work every time.
What I’m most proud of is our growth and recognition. We started with just four employees and a personal car, and today we manage over 20 commercial accounts. On top of that, we’ve been recognized as an award-winning cleaning company in Houston for four consecutive years—2022, 2023, 2024, and 2025. That recognition reflects the hard work and dedication we put into every job.
What sets us apart is our mindset. We don’t look at this as just cleaning—we see it as a responsibility. Every project, whether big or small, gets the same level of care and attention. We also understand urgency, especially in post-construction, where timelines are critical.
At the end of the day, we focus on doing things the right way—delivering high-quality work, staying reliable, and building long-term relationships with our clients.
Do you have any advice for those looking to network or find a mentor?
For me, networking wasn’t something formal in the beginning—it happened naturally through the work.
Early on, I focused on doing a great job for every client, no matter how small. That led to word-of-mouth referrals, and over time, those connections became my network. A lot of my opportunities came from people seeing the quality of our work and recommending us to others.
When it comes to mentors, I believe they don’t always come in a traditional way. My dad was my first mentor—he encouraged me to start and always pushed me to stay consistent. Beyond that, I’ve learned a lot from people in the industry just by observing, asking questions, and being open to learning.
My advice would be:
Focus on your work first—your reputation will open doors
Build real relationships, not just contacts
Don’t be afraid to ask questions or learn from others in your field
Stay consistent—people notice reliability over time
What worked best for me was staying genuine, delivering quality work, and letting the results speak. Over time, the right people, opportunities, and even mentors naturally came into place.
