Hi Yadira, thanks for joining us today. We’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I got into real estate pretty organically. I was in college at the time and didn’t have a clear path of what I wanted to pursue, but I knew I wanted to build something for myself. Real estate felt like the right space where I could grow, learn, and create opportunities not just for me, but for others as well.
I started by learning the business from the ground up, understanding deals, building relationships, and spending as much time in the field as possible. I focused on staying consistent, following through, and putting in the work to really understand how everything comes together.
Early on, I gravitated toward working with investors and off-market opportunities, which really shaped how I approach real estate today. I enjoy helping people see the potential in a property and connecting the right opportunities with the right buyers.
A lot of my business today is built on relationships and consistency, which is something I truly value.
I’ve been able to build a solid foundation here in Houston, and I’m focused on continuing to grow, refine my approach, and expand within the market.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It definitely hasn’t been a completely smooth road. Like anything, there have been challenges along the way, especially in the beginning when I was still learning and building confidence in the business.
One of the biggest challenges was learning how to stay consistent, even when things felt uncertain or didn’t go as planned. Real estate can be unpredictable, and not every deal works out, so learning how to adapt and keep moving forward was something I had to develop early on.
Another part was building trust and relationships from scratch. That takes time, and it requires showing up consistently and proving yourself through your work.
Looking back, those challenges really helped shape how I approach my business today. They pushed me to be more disciplined, more patient, and more focused on long-term growth rather than quick wins.

Six Two One Real Estate is focused on working with investors, builders, and buyers looking for opportunities across the Houston market.
I mainly work with off-market properties, fixers, and investment deals. A big part of what I do is finding potential in properties that might be overlooked and connecting those opportunities with the right buyers. Whether it’s a flip, rental, or new build, I focus on deals that make sense.
Most of my business comes from relationships and repeat clients, which has helped me build a strong network within the investor space. I stay hands-on and try to bring value throughout the process, not just on the transaction.
I’ve built a solid foundation through consistency and the relationships behind my business, and I’m focused on continuing to grow within the Houston market.
If we knew you growing up, how would we have described you?
Growing up as the oldest of four, I’ve always been pretty independent and driven. I naturally took on the role of setting a good example for my siblings, which shaped a lot of how I show up today.
I’ve always liked to take risks and go for things, even if I didn’t have everything figured out. I also like to stay active, and a big center point of my life has always been my family and my faith.
I’ve always considered myself more of an introverted person, but real estate has pushed me out of that and made me realize how much more of a people person I am than I expected. It’s helped me grow in ways I didn’t really anticipate.
I’ve also always been observant and learned a lot by watching and doing, which has carried into how I approach things now. Staying consistent, being self-motivated, and being willing to learn as I go have always been a big part of who I am.
