Today we’d like to introduce you to Cherokee Robinson.
Hi Cherokee, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
Well, I basically started with just a vision. I wanted to build a platform for ladies you know let’s try to better ourselves and get into the industry. I started on a TV show out New York call Baddies revenge and then after that I I was the producer for that show and it was an experience so after working with them, I decided to start my own show and I worked with a few producers here in Philly and then I just reached off now I’m I have my own network. I’m in movies, music videos and I’m also providing a platform for others to come on and promote their selves in their brand I am also happy to say I’m am now a co host on a radio station out new tours ja irie mannerz and respect how.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It wasn’t Smooth at all me being a female boss entrepreneur of a network and a reality TV show people that I work with sometimes you can get a little hectic. They wanna be the position and you know I’m open to working with anybody, but I have to learn like not everybody is a good fit to work with I’ma just say that.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
Well, I’m known for my reality TV show Cherokee Stable also Madeline I have done a few more New York Fashion weeks yeah that’s my main thing. If you know about Cherokee, you know she’s a model and she has her own network.And streaming globally on mixcloud I am a radio host. And she provides opportunities .
Any big plans?
My plans is to have a big platform just like Netflix and Hulu that I can promote independent artist one and also have a production studio that they are able to come film and be on set and also Collab it with my network so just be a whole power house for them
