Good morning Zeinab Kachmar Zahid, it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What is something outside of work that is bringing you joy lately?
My kids! They are truly the reason for all of the hard work that gets put into our firm and our family. All of this is to build a comfortable future for them.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Zeinab Kachmar Zahid and I am the managing partner of ZKZ Law. We handle personal injury claims (car accidents, work injuries, slip and falls, etc.) in Texas. We are a family run firm that treats YOU like family if you are our client, and we pride ourselves on that. No one will handle your case better and make sure you are informed every step of the way than we do.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who saw you clearly before you could see yourself?
My husband. He believes in me so deeply – much more deeply than I have ever believed in myself. He is the motivation behind every success, and I am very lucky to have him as a partner both in life and in our business endeavors.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Be kinder to yourself, and do not try so hard to fit into your surroundings.
Sure, so let’s go deeper into your values and how you think. Is the public version of you the real you?
Yes. I try very hard to carry myself in a way I can be proud of, always. When I was younger, I felt that I needed to apologize for myself and fit into everyone else’s “acceptable” boxes. I am done with that now.
Okay, so before we go, let’s tackle one more area. What is the story you hope people tell about you when you’re gone?
I hope that my children see that every single thing I did, and that their father did, was for them.
