Mi Dulce Tentación Surprise Gifts began with a simple idea: to make people feel loved and remembered through thoughtful surprises.
I started my business by creating personalized surprise breakfasts, filled with delicious treats, beautiful details, and heartfelt messages. What began as a small idea grew through dedication, hard work, and the support of our customers.
Over the years, I’ve continued to grow and expand, adding personalized gifts, corporate gifts, candles, and other unique surprises. Today, after years of serving the Houston community, Mi Dulce Tentación has become a business built on love, honesty, responsibility, and the belief that a small surprise can create a beautiful memory.
My journey hasn’t always been easy, but every order, every customer, and every milestone has reminded me why I started: to surprise with love.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely hasn’t been a smooth road. Building a small business from the ground up has come with many challenges, especially learning how to manage everything on my own while balancing work, family, finances, and the demands of running a business.
There were times when I questioned whether I should continue, especially during slow seasons when expenses were higher than sales. I also had to learn everything from marketing and customer service to finances, social media, and how to keep growing with limited resources.
But every challenge taught me something. Instead of giving up, I learned to adapt, work harder, and keep believing in my vision. The support and trust of my customers have been a huge part of what kept me going.
Today, I’m proud of how far Mi Dulce Tentación has come. The journey hasn’t been perfect, but every obstacle has made the business and me stronger.

At Mi Dulce Tentación, I specialize in creating meaningful surprises that turn ordinary days into special memories. I started with surprise breakfasts, but over time my business has grown into creating personalized gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, celebrations, and corporate occasions.
What I love most about my work is being part of someone’s story without them knowing it. Whether it’s a daughter surprising her mom, a partner celebrating someone they love, or a company showing appreciation to its employees, I get to help people express feelings that sometimes are difficult to put into words.
I’m most proud of building this business from the ground up and creating something that reflects my personality, creativity, and heart. I put a lot of attention into the little details because I believe those details are what make a gift unforgettable.
What makes us different is that we don’t see our work as simply putting together a gift and delivering it. We create an experience. Every order is prepared with intention, personalization, and love—and that is what I believe customers remember most.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
I define success by growth, not perfection growing as a business owner, learning from every experience, and seeing Mi Dulce Tentación become something that people trust and remember.
Most importantly, success is being proud of what I’ve built and knowing that my work has made someone’s special moment a little more meaningful.
