My Story: From Personal Struggle to Helping Others Transform Their Lives
My name is Vikki LeBeau, owner and Clinic Director of TLD Nutrition & Wellness in Magnolia, Texas.
Like many of my clients, my journey into health and wellness started with my own personal struggle. For years, I battled my weight and tried countless diets, programs, and quick fixes. No matter how hard I worked, lasting success always seemed just out of reach. I became so discouraged that I had scheduled a consultation with a bariatric surgeon and was only weeks away from exploring weight loss surgery options.
Then everything changed.
Before that consultation took place, I was introduced to a nutrition program that focused on understanding how the body truly works. For the first time, someone explained the science behind weight gain, nutrition, and metabolism in a way that made sense. It wasn’t another fad diet. It was a practical, sustainable approach that gave me hope and, ultimately, results.
As I experienced success myself, I became passionate about helping others achieve the same freedom. What began as a personal transformation turned into a mission. I started teaching the principles that had changed my life and quickly saw others experiencing incredible results. People were losing weight, improving their health, reducing medications, and gaining confidence for the first time in years.
Then another unexpected challenge entered my life.
After years of helping people improve their health, I was diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer. While the diagnosis was devastating, it gave me a deeper perspective on wellness, prevention, and the importance of taking control of our health. Looking back, I believe every challenge I faced prepared me to better serve others. My experience strengthened my commitment to educating people and helping them make informed decisions about their health journey.
Today, TLD stands for Teach, Learn, Dedicate, and those three words drive everything we do. At TLD Nutrition & Wellness, we focus on personalized nutrition, weight loss, wellness coaching, detoxification, DNA-based nutrition insights, and lifestyle education. We don’t just help people lose weight. We help them create healthier, more fulfilling lives.
What makes me different is that I’ve walked this path myself. I understand the frustration, the setbacks, and the feeling of wanting to give up. That’s why I meet my clients with compassion, honesty, and a commitment to helping them discover solutions that work for their unique needs.
Today, I am blessed to serve clients throughout Texas and beyond from our beautiful Magnolia location. Every success story reminds me why I started this journey in the first place: to give people hope, provide guidance, and show them that lasting health transformation is possible.
My mission is simple:
To teach, inspire, and empower people to take control of their health so they can live longer, stronger, and more vibrant lives.
“My only regret is that I didn’t start sooner.”
This is not just my story. It’s the beginning of many success stories yet to come.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Like many people, my journey started with my own health struggles. For years, I battled my weight and felt the frustration of trying diet after diet without finding lasting success. There were times when I felt discouraged and defeated I just wanted to give up completly but I have 2 little girls I needed to be here for so I dug in. .
When I finally found a nutrition program based on my DNA that made sense I began seeing results, I really thought the hard part was over. In reality, it was just the beginning. Building a business meant learning how to educate, coach, and inspire people while also managing all the responsibilities that come with being an single mom entrepreneur. There were financial risks, long hours, and plenty of moments where I had to figure things out as I went. Like most small business owners, I wore many hats and often had to learn by trial and error.
One of the biggest challenges was helping people understand that lasting health isn’t about quick fixes. We live in a world that wants immediate results, but true wellness requires commitment, education, and lifestyle changes. Part of my mission became teaching people that health is a journey, not a temporary diet.
Then came my biggest personal health challenge: being diagnosed with Stage 3 Colon Cancer. That diagnosis changed everything. It was physically, emotionally, and mentally difficult, and it forced me to look at health from an entirely different perspective. But it also strengthened my purpose. Instead of allowing the diagnosis to define me, I chose to use my experience to help others become proactive about their health and wellness. This changed my business, teaching now how important detoxing can be to a healthy outcome.
Looking back, I can honestly say it has not been a smooth road, but every obstacle taught me something valuable. My struggles with weight taught me empathy. Building a business taught me perseverance. Surviving cancer taught me gratitude and purpose.
Today, those experiences allow me to connect with clients on a deeper level because I’m not just teaching health and wellness, Im teaching a different level of understanding. I’ve lived through many of the same challenges my clients face. That understanding has become one of the greatest strengths of both my business and my mission.
The road hasn’t been easy, but every challenge helped create the person and the business I am today.
Appreciate you sharing that. What should we know about TLD Nutrition and Wellness?
What makes me completly different from all the other health and wellness clinics in the area?
What makes me completely different from other health and wellness clinics in the area is that I focus on simplicity and personalization. In today’s world, people are overwhelmed with conflicting information about diets, supplements, exercise programs, and health trends. Instead of guessing what might work, I help my clients understand exactly what their bodies need based on their unique DNA.
I believe the foundation of great health starts with three key areas: nutrition, movement, and targeted supplementation. By using DNA testing, we can identify which foods your body is likely to respond best to, how you process nutrients, what types of exercise may be most beneficial, and which vitamins and supplements can help fill the gaps. This allows us to eliminate much of the trial and error that leaves people frustrated and stuck.
My approach is not about chasing symptoms. It’s about creating a strong foundation first. When your diet, exercise routine, and nutritional needs are aligned with your genetic blueprint, your body is better equipped to function the way it was designed. Many common health concerns improve simply by addressing these foundational areas.
Once we have optimized those basics, we can then take a deeper look at any remaining challenges or symptoms that may still be present. Instead of immediately jumping into complicated protocols, extensive testing, or quick fixes, I prefer to build health from the ground up. This often helps uncover the true root causes of concerns while giving clients a clear, sustainable path forward.
What truly sets me apart is that I make health easy to understand and practical to implement. My goal is not to give you another complicated plan to follow. My goal is to give you a personalized roadmap based on your DNA, help you create simple habits that fit your lifestyle, and empower you with the knowledge to take control of your health for the long term.
At the end of the day, I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Your body is unique, your health journey is unique, and your wellness plan should be unique too. That’s why everything we do starts with understanding you at the deepest level possible, then building a strategy that helps you feel your best, live your best, and achieve lasting results.
We all have a different way of looking at and defining success. How do you define success?
At the end of the day, I’v learned time is our most valuable asset, and success is having the health, freedom, and peace to fully enjoy it.
I define success by having more quality time. As I’ve become more connected with my mind, body, and spirit, I’ve learned that time is life’s greatest gift. Having my health and freedom to spend quality time with myself, my family, and my friends means more to me than any financial achievement. Success is being present, cherishing each day, and making the most of the time we’re given.
