Hi Odilia-Odie, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
My passion for hairstyling started at a young age. I remember hanging out at a family friend’s small hair shop and seeing how cool the culture was. Making someone feel beautiful and all the laughs that came with it.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t always been smooth sailing for me. Building a steady clientele took approximately 3 years. It was well worth the hard work I put into my craft.
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I think that not having a particular specialty sets me apart from other hair artists. I’m most proud of my ability to transform someone’s hair and, even more so, to create a connection that keeps them coming back.
