Hi Jazimane “JAZZY”, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
THEE JAZZY WAY started in July 2020 from my genuine love for beauty, creativity, and helping women feel confident. What began as a vision has grown into a brand that brings together everything I’m passionate about beauty products, makeup services, and custom creations.
The journey has not always been easy. I have invested a lot of time, money, sacrifice, and heart into building my brand while also working a full time job and being a mother. There have been moments when I had to figure things out on my own, start over, and keep going even when things didn’t happen as quickly as I wanted. But I have never stopped believing in what THEE JAZZY WAY can become.
My brand is about more than selling products. It represents confidence, self-expression, and showing up for yourself. I’m truly just a girl who loves her brand and refuses to stop pushing it, even when I’m the only one stepping behind it. Today, I’m proud of how far I’ve come, the customers I’ve served, and the opportunities my business has brought me. I’m still growing and learning, but I know this is only the beginning for THEE JAZZY WAY.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
It has definitely not been a smooth road. One of my biggest challenges has been balancing entrepreneurship with working a full-time job and becoming a first-time mother. I often have to wear every hat and handle everything myself without the consistent support system that many business owners have.
Another challenge has been hearing people say they don’t support or purchase from my brand because they “don’t wear makeup.” I’ve had to help people understand that beauty does not always mean wearing a full face. Sometimes it’s simply applying lip gloss, wearing lashes, or choosing one product that makes you feel a little more confident. My brand has something for women who love full glam as well as those who prefer a simple, natural look.
There have also been late nights, financial sacrifices, slow seasons, and moments when I questioned whether everything I was investing would eventually pay off. Managing marketing, content, orders, customers, and every other part of the business while being fully present as a mother and employee has not been easy.
Still, every challenge has made me more disciplined, creative, and determined. I’ve learned to keep showing up even when I’m tired, discouraged, or the only person actively pushing my vision. Becoming a mother has given me an even greater purpose because I want my daughter to see that her dreams are worth working for. My journey may not have been easy, but it has shown me how capable and resilient I truly am.

THEE JAZZY WAY is a beauty and creative lifestyle brand built around one main belief: confidence looks good on you. My business brings together three parts of who I am THEE JAZZY WAY BEAUTY, BEATS, and CUSTOMS.
Through my Beauty Collection, I offer lip gloss, lipstick, lashes, and other beauty essentials for women who love everything from natural and simple to bold and glamorous. Through BEATS, I provide makeup services designed to enhance each client’s natural beauty and help her feel confident. Through CUSTOMS, I create personalized party favors, apparel, gifts, and event items that turn my customers’ ideas into something special.
What sets THEE JAZZY WAY apart is the personal touch behind everything I do. I genuinely care about the details, the quality, and how my customers feel when they receive a product or service from me. I don’t believe beauty has one look or one definition. You don’t have to wear a full face of makeup to enjoy beauty,a little lip gloss can make you feel just as confident.
I’m most proud that I have continued building and expanding my brand while working a full-time job and becoming a first-time mother. I have invested my own time, money, creativity, and heart into this business, often while handling every role myself. THEE JAZZY WAY is bigger than products or profit for me it represents passion, perseverance, creativity, and the confidence to keep showing up for yourself. My goal is for every customer to feel seen, beautiful, and confident while experiencing beauty and creativity THEE JAZZY WAY.
Can you tell us more about what you were like growing up?
Growing up, I was always a girly girl who loved lip gloss, beauty, fashion, and anything that allowed me to be creative. Even at nine years old, lip gloss was one of my favorite things, but I never imagined that one day I would have a beauty brand of my own.
I have always been someone who pays attention to the little details and enjoys turning an idea into something special. I also loved expressing myself and finding ways to stand out while still being true to who I am. As I got older, those interests grew into a passion for makeup, beauty, custom creations, modeling, and helping other women feel good about themselves.
Looking back, I can see that the foundation for THEE JAZZY WAY was already inside me. The little girl who loved her lip gloss grew into a creative, determined woman who built a brand centered around beauty, creativity, and confidence. I know she would be extremely proud of the woman I am today.
