Today we’d like to introduce you to Nicole Jackson.
Hi Nicole, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
I published my first independent book 13 years ago. At the time, I had very little expectations, after doing a tremendous amount of networking on social media. Most authors spoke about being happy about earning enough to occasionally pay a light bill, here and there. Although, I always felt that I was gifted, I figured that everybody thought this way, so I was prepared to be the average starving artist. So, never in a million years did I think that my debut novel, She Got It, would immediately break into Amazon’s best-selling list, soaring beyond the top ten. This was done with absolutely no push from any outside entity. Immediately, I began earning more money than I’d ever seen in my adult life. Since then, I’ve published 70 books, which were all Amazon bestsellers. It’s still astonishing to think that I’ve literally had millions of downloads from readers who love to read my romantic, dramatic, climactic books that are all centered in Houston, Texas. The city rich with culture and a huge component in molding me into the woman I am today.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
Honestly, my struggles had all taken place, before publishing books. After becoming published, my life has changed for the better. Even now, my career is constantly changing and growing.

I craft urban, romance, erotica novels.
Are there any important lessons you’ve learned that you can share with us?
I’ve learned that staying true to myself is why my career has stood the test of time. My authentic voice is what makes me special.
