Today we’d like to introduce you to Maryna Bakhmatska.
Hi Maryna, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
I started working as a model at the age of 16. Worked for svorveski, Volkswagen, YSL etc. when I was in Ukraine. Also got an opportunity to travel to various European countries for the modeling job. Due to war situation in Ukraine I had to come to USA to work. Before moving worked in a war zone to check the document and allow people safe accommodation.
After moving USA, i worked for Kangol hats and walked runway NYC fashion week. Then I found my soul mate in NYC and we got married. We have two beautiful kids now. As they are growing I am focusing on getting back to the modeling. But things are different here in USA, the agency asking money without even checking my portfolio which I don’t find right. Also enrolled into college to complete the degree now and composing and singing songs as hobby
