Hi Jarvis, it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
My journey started with a love for music and the culture around it. I began by getting in the studio, learning through experience, and surrounding myself with people who were already doing what I wanted to do. One of my first major experiences was getting into the studio with OTB Fastlane, which pushed me to take music more seriously and eventually build my own studio.
From there, I connected with artists like Rahaim the King and OTC Toro and met Tez Lamont, who taught me how to engineer, and navigate the right rooms. I eventually started getting behind the mic myself, releasing music and collaborating with artists like NG, Yop, Detroit Red, and others.
Over time, I became more than just a producer—I became an artist and engineer, handling almost every part of my own creative process. My music has grown from my experiences, struggles, emotions, and losses, especially the passing of my father.
Today, I’m continuing to build my sound, my brand, and my audience independently. I’m focused on turning everything I’ve learned into something bigger and creating music that people from all walks of life can connect with.
Would you say it’s been a smooth road, and if not what are some of the biggest challenges you’ve faced along the way?
It definitely wasn’t a smooth road. Most of my struggle was actually perfecting the craft and getting the beats to the right artists
Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I’m an independent artist, producer, and engineer. I specialize in creating music that feels cinematic, dark, emotional, and gritty while still being relatable. I’m heavily involved in every part of my music, from producing the beat and writing to recording, engineering, mixing, and mastering. Having my own studio allows me to turn an idea into a finished piece of art without depending on anyone else.
I’m known for not putting myself in a box. I can make music that speaks to different lifestyles, emotions, and experiences while still maintaining my own sound and identity. My biggest source of inspiration is real life—struggle, loss, ambition, anger, growth, and everything in between.
What I’m most proud of is how far I’ve come from simply wanting to be in the studio to being able to run my own creative space and handle nearly every aspect of the process myself. I’ve learned from experienced artists and engineers, worked with different artists, and built my skills through hands-on experience.
What sets me apart is that I’m truly a one-man creative team. I’m not just the artist—I understand the production, engineering, and business sides of the music. That gives me the freedom to experiment and create exactly what I hear in my head. My goal is to continue developing that unique sound and turn my experiences into music that people can genuinely feel.
