Rising Stars: Meet The Neon Rouge, LLC of Houston

Today we’d like to introduce you to The Neon Rouge, LLC.

Hi The Neon, please kick things off for us with an introduction to yourself and your story.
It all began when Reina La Rouge met Chef Anita during a private event at Hamburger Marys, and the rest is detailed, theatrical history.
The visionary behind the Neon Rouge Dance Shows and Dance Company, Reina La Rouge has built a space where history and high-end performance art meet.
The Neon Rouge Cabaret Show premiered at the 111-year-old venue on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 with a stacked cast of incredible burlesque, magic and aerial performers including The Neon Rouge Dance Company!
Our stage enjoys hosting performers from every corner of the map who travel to experience the magic of Houston.
The Isis Theatre opened in 1912 as the first upscale silent movie theatre in town.
It closed in 1928 and has since hosted retail shops; night clubs; a brewery; and drag, vaudeville and burlesque shows. Previously known as Prohibition Theatre or SupperClub, the Isis Theatre operated as a hidden sanctuary for those seeking that speakeasy, showgirl magic.
This legendary space has shed its secrecy to become a Latina/POC-owned landmark for artists from all walks of life to enjoy the applause of an inclusive, world-class stage.
We are working hard to preserve the alluring mystery of the 1920s while educating a new generation on the power of local art in the heart of Downtown HTX.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
Definitely not.
We will not bore you with the less glamorous details.
Lets just say…

The world is our stage and it’s our honor to entertain you even when times are hard and the world is not at peace.

The show must go on!

All, Thanks to God, good people, and our beautiful fans that support our shows every month.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
