Today we’d like to introduce you to DeZell Mathews.
Twentyish Thirty story goes a little something like this… DeZell always had a passion for fashion and beauty from her older cousin, Nastassja. DeZell and Nastassja could go on for hours about beauty and fashion without missing a beat. In 2016, DeZell lost Nastassja to cancer days before DeZell’s birthday. After a year, DeZell had an idea to keep Nastassja and her passion for beauty and fashion with other women on the go. Twentyish Thirty was created three days after DeZell’s birthday.
We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
The challenges I face is getting traffic to the blog and social media, but day by day traffic has been slowly coming. My advice to young women who are starting their journey is to research and network.

I am a beauty and fashion blogger. I am known for my pictures on Instagram and my personality. I am proud I am only 6 months in blogging and working with different brands and connecting with so many different people around the world.
Often it feels as if the media, by and large, is only focused on the obstacles faced by women, but we feel it’s important to also look for the opportunities. In your view, are there opportunities that you see that women are particularly well positioned for?
I feel women can do anything. Not just any particular position, but all positions.
