Life and Work with Jasmine Elias Boswell

Today we’d like to introduce you to Jasmine Elias Boswell.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Jasmine Elias. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
I started blogging as a way to hold myself accountable to a self-challenge. I had just turned 25 and wanted to do 25 things I had never done before. I went skydiving, pet ligers (yes, they do exist!), went cliff jumping, explored new cities and so much more. It truly was an incredible 25th year.

As I blogged about my adventures, I had no clue how much I was going to fall in love with storytelling. Experiencing my adventures was one thing, sharing them and being able to experience them with others was another.

So, after my 25th year came to a close, I decided to combine the things I love most, fashion, travel and storytelling all into one. My adventurous 25th year turned into an even greater adventure in the blogging industry.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
I can’t say it’s been a smooth road because life is always throwing some lovely little curveballs. For instance, in years time, I moved 7 times, planned a wedding, got married and added one more move across the world. a routine was unheard of and time was nowhere to be found.

However, most things worth your while won’t come easy. So, take whatever challenges come your way with grace and fight that much harder to get where you want to be. If you’re chasing your dreams, don’t let giving up be an option. Your path may not be exactly what you envisioned, but learn to adjust and create a new path even greater than the one before.

So, as you know, we’re impressed with Jasmine Elias – tell our readers more, for example, what you’re most proud of as a company and what sets you apart from others.
I’m a fashion and travel journalist who loves encouraging others to live their life to the fullest with confidence, grace, compassion and a love for others.

As a brand, I strive to promote community over the competition in a very open and honest environment. For the most part, I stay upbeat and positive throughout life, but like everyone, I have my bad days. I don’t shy away from them, instead, I share what I learn from them, laugh about them and keep moving forward.

On top of that, I’m always on the hunt for the latest trends and learning how to personalize them. I’ve never been one to fit into a square box. My fashion sense is no different. Comfortable is always my go-to (I practically live in cut-off shorts and tees), but I also can never turn down twirling around in a flirty dress.

There’s a wealth of academic research that suggests that lack of mentors and networking opportunities for women has materially affected the number of women in leadership roles. Smart organizations and industry leaders are working to change this, but in the meantime, do you have any advice for finding a mentor and building a network?
My best advice for finding a mentor or networking in general is to be kind! Kindness is such a beautiful and contagious gesture. You never know how the people you are meeting will impact your life or how you will impact theirs. So, be kind, always.
