Today we’d like to introduce you to Sean Anthony.
Sean, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
As a fifth-generation stylist, I’ve been in salons since before I could walk. The passion for hair and helping people look and feel their best is integrated into my heartbeat. I was doing my first haircuts as an adolescent and haven’t looked back. Opening my own salon and now having a satellite location before the age of 30 has brought me a sense of fulfillment while simultaneously feeding an ever-growing fire to continually grow, learn, and help other stylists achieve their own goals.
We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
My art is a process that involves not only my training and skill and talent, but also the input of my clients. I personally consult each person who sits in my chair before I even pick up shears or a comb so that together we can decide on a unique style that works with their lifestyle and personality. I create hairstyles that celebrate the uniqueness of people; give them a place to feel valued and appreciated and send them out into the world with newfound confidence.
Artists face many challenges, but what do you feel is the most pressing among them?
I think the biggest challenge for hairstylists is the rapid pace of trends. Keeping up with the newest, latest, and greatest styles and looks brings not only a challenge, but also opens the door to opportunities. The work is never dull, always changing, and a chance to continue learning throughout my career. There is also a large pool of stylists looking to carve out their own corner in the industry; therefore, it’s important to continue to always work on improve technique, learn new things, and continue to build relationships with people that turn satisfied customers into returning clients with whom I have a long-term connection.
Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
My work can be seen wherever my clients live, work, play, and celebrate. It’s exciting for me to know that my gallery of work is a moving, living, breathing collection of pieces that is not only mobile, but changes with the shifting desires of my client’s styles. My brick and mortar locations are at both 3300 Chimney Rock Rd #100 in Houston as well as 19875 Southwest Freeway Suite 260 in Sugar Land in Rejuven8 Medical.

Sean is a great manager. It’s hard to believe that someone so young has the vision he has.
I work at the original Chimney Rock location. I love the atmosphere in the salon. All the staff are professionals and conduct their business accordingly. It’s a low stress environment with experienced stylists who take care of their clientele. No drama… it’s wouldn’t be tolerated and I love that.
This salon is a great place to work with easy access in all directions…: 610,59, the Toll Road & Beltway, Memorial, Inside the Loop, etc. with plenty of surface parking. My clients love it.
A great place to work and a great place to experience a professional haircare services.
