Today we’d like to introduce you to Benrezzy.
So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Originally from West Africa, I grew up in Southwest Houston TX and later moved to Richmond TX. I have always been into fashion, I started taking it seriously in the year 2016, A photographer friend of mine by the name of @tcf_photos gave me the idea of modeling, and since then I have been running with it.
Great, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
No struggles, I have always learned to enjoy each moment, I believe everything happens for a reason.
We’d love to hear more about what you do.
I’m a freelance Model/Creative Director. My most proud moment would be the fact that I’m doing something I never thought I would be doing, especially since growing up modeling or being a creative director was never the first thing on my mind, so for me to actually enjoy what I’m doing, I’m proud of myself, I believe anyone can do what I’m doing if they put the time and effort, the sky is the limit.
Do you look back particularly fondly on any memories from childhood?
My favorite moment as a child would be growing up in Houston TX. Houston is very diverse; it has a lot to offer, I got a chance to live in the rural low-class part of the city and also the more urban middle-class part of the city. I believe being in both places made me who I’m today.
