Today we’d like to introduce you to Kristina Cammarano.
Thanks for sharing your story with us Kristina. So, let’s start at the beginning, and we can move on from there.
Never in my wildest imagination did I think I would begin a blog. It’s a pretty funny story actually!
One day my husband had a conversation with someone, and he was telling me about what was said because I was not there at the time. So she asked if I was a blogger because according to her observation I was so “fashionable” even when I went grocery shopping haha.
I never really thought someone would pay that much attention to what I wore or how I wore it. So after much consideration, I thought “it would be pretty fun to start a blog” you know I would show people where I shop and how I wear it. So I actually began my blogging journey around February of 2017.
If it weren’t for my husband’s persistence, I’m not sure I’d be where I am today. He is not only my best friend, he is my number one supporter and cheerleader. He is my biggest critic but is also the one who sees the best in me.
Little to my surprise, I discovered how determined and dedicated bloggers have to be because it’s all about what happens behind the scenes. So with my husband’s help and support I opened up Freckles & Cocoa.
Overall, has it been relatively smooth? If not, what were some of the struggles along the way?
Being a full-time mommy definitely makes it more challenging. Usually, when we’re shooting a new outfit she’s off to the side, waiting patiently in her stroller just watching mommy do her thing, it’s pretty cute actually!
Freckles and Cocoa – what should we know? What do you guys do best? What sets you apart from the competition?
I focus on stuff that I love, and then I just put it all together to show how I would wear it. I don’t consider myself to be a “trendy” person but every now and then I’m inspired by the new trends.
What is “success” or “successful” for you?
Honestly, success to me is being content by achieving my personal goals and at the moment in my life that is where I stand. Could there be more I could do? Yes of course but then again there will always be a new goal to meet.
