Art & Life with Mighty Bay

Today we’d like to introduce you to Mighty Bay.

Mighty, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
Well, Mighty Bay yeah that’s me and my story is very simple. I really wanted to be a rapper since I was little. My uncle was always telling me I was going to be his hype man. He goes by the name “Big Mello” he was a popular rapper around Houston and always had the streets locked on him. He, unfortunately, passed away when I was three years old but his legacy lived on. I was into music a lot when I got to the age of 10 my first song I rap to was Drake “Headlines,” and after that, I kept writing and writing, I fell in love with writing and use to write love songs a lot. I brought my tablet everywhere with me. I use to be CDs and Posters just to look at them everyday lol. Fast Forward to me actually pursuing my rap career I link up with some of my friends around the neighborhood and school. We link up and find out each other had the same taste of music and style and clicked from there. Since then we’ve been making music together getting deals together and pursuing the music career. Only can go up from here.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I am an American rapper, Singer, songwriter and record prouder. I am a musician because I love the way music is made, love to create and also do live performances. My message behind this is to show the kids that come up after me that things are even more possible and showing persistence with life troubles.

What responsibility, if any, do you think artists have to use their art to help alleviate problems faced by others? Has your art been affected by issues you’ve concerned about?
Everything is Global that what’s so special about today’s world. The internet is a big thing, and it affects my art because you can’t miss it.

What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
