Art & Life with Sarah Krueger

Today we’d like to introduce you to Sarah Krueger.

Sarah, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
Ever since I was little, I’ve been fascinated by fashion and style. The idea of expressing yourself creatively through fashion was absolutely inspiring and special to me because it’s a unique art form. During middle school, I started to collect fashion magazines, Elle, and Vogue, and I continued to collect them throughout high school. It was heartbreaking when I had to leave them behind when I moved from Dallas to Houston post-graduation.

Due to my love of fashion, I started modeling when I was about 12 years old, which has been an absolutely a crazy and fun journey. Since then, I’ve modeled throughout Texas, in New York, in California, and even in Nigeria. In high school, I had to prioritize my academics, because education means a lot to me, especially being a second-generation college student, so modeling was very on and off during those years.

Ever since being in college, I’ve had the opportunity to further my modeling because my schedule has (thankfully) allowed me to make more time for it. I am currently signed to 2 agencies, Alice Laura in Dallas and Brown Agency in Austin, and by the end of this month I’ll be signed to an agency in Houston.

This journey has had its ups and downs, and it’s definitely been a wild ride. I’m incredibly happy and blessed to be where I am and to have experienced what I have experienced; I can’t wait to see what lies ahead.

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
The biggest thing that I hope that people take away from my work is inspiration. Inspiration to create their own art, inspiration to have more confidence in their skin, inspiration to model, inspiration to practice self-love a little bit more.

I know this all may sound like a stretch, but personally, when I look at other models’ and/or creatives’ work, their confidence and self-love radiates off of their pictures, and that inspires me. I just hope that my work has the same impact.

What’s the best way for someone to check out your work and provide support?
People can see my work on my Instagram, which is @sarahkruegerr. I’m debating on creating an online portfolio that has all of my work for everyone to be able to see and draw inspiration.

The best way to support my work is to book me and collab with me. I have so many creative ideas, and I love working with others and putting in our best efforts to create something beautiful.
