Art & Life with Yoshi The Plug

Today we’d like to introduce you to Yoshi The Plug.

Yoshi The, please kick things off for us by telling us about yourself and your journey so far.
I Grew up with always loving music, I was weird I’ll never listen to the actual song, but I’ll always listen to all the different sounds , that’s what attracted me to music the sound, I noticed it gave you the power to shape someone emotion for the duration of the song , I first started trying to rap when I was 13, I was horrible my older brother even told me I should quit rapping, from that point I felt like I had to prove something to my brother, I never understood why he was being so blunt but he told the truth, and it made me hungry! It made me wanna rap more than ever; it turned into a passion a way of life, I remember days in school I’ll blank out a whole class, cause I was thinking of lyrics and making mental notes, I didn’t take it seriously until I graduated now I’m in full effect. 😈

Can you give our readers some background on your art?
I make music, I’m very good at it as well as I stated earlier I noticed how music could shape someone’s emotion son I make Music based on how I’m feeling, I make mostly hype music, but I have some very diverse music I also record what people like to call boom bap. My message is for the people who feels bottled in / lost I make music that makes you wanna turn up! I also rap about the world that we live in it. Just solely depends on my mood at the moment. I hope people listen to my music and it motivates them to step out there comfort zone, and push new limits that they never think of reaching

Any advice for aspiring or new artists?
Don’t be afraid of rejection! That’s how you learn! Never be afraid of taking new heights; it’s literally all in the mind! If I can tell you anything don’t wait around and don’t doubt yourself, Give it all you got and work smarter not harder! And Make sure you’re connected with the underground music scene in your city
