Today we’d like to introduce you to LOi INsane.
LOi, we’d love to hear your story and how you got to where you are today both personally and as an artist.
I grew up singing throughout my childhood I sang at every school talent show, local talent shows, open mics, and choir. I even made it to state finals once singing a song in Turkish. As I got older I slowly stopped singing my love for music was still there my collection was growing but being a super star just wasn’t as common. I hated the fact that I had to be “discovered” I didn’t want to do any more competitions. I despised shows like American Idol after the third season. I got older graduated high school and it was all downhill from there I randomly made art. My mental health took a turn for the worse over time a slow build up that was very unexpected. My true turn around was my rock bottom. I discovered in that moment I own nothing, I’ve lost everything including my mind. The only thing I could do for myself was to remind myself of the things I can control. Which was my love for music. At the moment I told myself I will learn every aspect of the industry and anything that could prevent me to reach my levels of success my way. The anger and the pain fueled me. Production was the first thing I started teaching myself but over time I began to love it. It honestly transformed my life in so many different areas.
We’d love to hear more about your art. What do you do you do and why and what do you hope others will take away from your work?
Well I’m a recording artist and also a producer. I love making beats and pushing genres to the extreme. I can’t stay in a pop, trap, or any genre too long or else I will get bored very easily. I love to make music because it is endless. I want to prove to myself and to others that music has no ends and a great producer should know that. I want people to be able to go into another world for each single and here the different elements. I also want people to understand that Love really is the cure of most things. If you love your passion you can heal and start prioritizing the right way you will become automatically aligned with your purpose. When you start to love yourself your health and self-presentation will began to kick in. I just want everyone to know there is hope and I found mine through production.
What do you think it takes to be successful as an artist?
As an ARTIST, my definition of success is make a living off of my art. From there, that would open doors for me. That mile stone alone is success. I would have to give you two characteristics lol. They both have enough power to get people to where they need to be. AUTHENTICITY & having a BUSINESS MINDSET I believe those are essentials for success for an artist. You can be authentic and still make it with no business experience the love of the people can get you far. But, having a business mindset being strategic, investing in yourself, the right collaborations and equipment, now that can get you far faster.
Do you have any events or exhibitions coming up? Where would one go to see more of your work? How can people support you and your artwork?
I would recommend everyone to just Google LOi INsane from there, there should be many avenues and different platforms to listen to my music. Also you should check out my YouTube. I have been putting out a lot of Visuals and I’m so ready to put out more content I know everyone will enjoy at all ages… Feel free to Cash App random 100$s lol. That was a joke.
