Hi Ace , it’s an honor to have you on the platform. Thanks for taking the time to share your story with us – to start maybe you can share some of your backstory with our readers?
Ace Berry Aifd, CFD, TMF, worked in the oil fields of texas for 5 years before finding my true passion …..FLOWERS!!! I opened my own Floral shop in Fulshear, Texas in July of 2016. He Earned his Texas Master Florist in 2012 , was Unit president for Teleflora in 2013. ..Ace has Passion for the industry and paying it forward, with mentoring new designers, educational programs and classes. He has travelled the country taking classes and working with some of the best designers in the world! Ace was inducted in the American Institute of Floral Designers in Denver Colorado in 2015. In 2017 Ace won Houston Designer and and in 2018 was the second runner-up in Texas Designer of the year. 2019 Ace became the g
By no Lu Texas Designer of the Year. Ace was Inducted into PFCI in 2019. 2020 Ace was cast on Reality show Full Bloom which is a floral competition on HBO max Ace was the runner up. In 2022 Ace was one of the featured Designers at Fleuramour in Bilzen Belgium. The latest project Ace is working on is “Urban Fiori” a concept that pulls floral art, retail life, and events all together! I recently won the innovation award at Chelsea and Bloom through the Royal horticulture SocietyAce is very excited to play a part in the future of this amazing industry.
We all face challenges, but looking back would you describe it as a relatively smooth road?
Not at all! When you do anything you love you’re gonna have ups and downs. You’re gonna have twist and turns so it’s never just a smooth ride but all of those ups and downs twist and turns has made my career better.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
Hi, I’m Ace. I am a floral artist. I specialize in creating beautiful, botanical art all over the world from intricate floral headdresses to huge floral installations to Floral immersive rooms a most proud of being a father, but sets me apart from the norm that I’ve never looked like a a Florist. I win against the grain and and I was unique because I was so different being covered in tattoos 6 foot tall and 300 pounds you don’t easily blend in and why would you want to?
So maybe we end on discussing what matters most to you and why?
I want people to love flowers as much as I love flowers. I want people to pick up flowers every week to have them in their home to know that a flower can change the absolute worst outlook. It can make it better. My wife is that I love flowers and I want people to love them. I want people to understand that when you were four years old, you ran outside and you picked a flower and you ran it into your mom and handed it to her and it melted her heart that literally the smallest act of kindness Going outside and picking a flower can change the world
