Check Out Aimee Santana’s Story

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Aimee Santana.

Aimee Santana

Hi Aimee, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello! I’m Aimee, and I started my photography business because I loved it since I was a child. My father bought me my first camera when I was 10. I’ve been and am still known for taking pictures of everything. My friends, family, nature.

My sister created my Instagram account when it first came out. So I could post all of my random pictures and photos. She was my first model of course. And later I started photographing at a church I use to go to. From there I got clients took pictures of couples , weddings, maternity photos.

And I just fell In love with seeing people smile with the pictures I would take of them. I loved just capturing things people didn’t know/notice before. I’ve always been a detailed person. So, it’s been fun creating and meeting new people with the same passion.

Can you talk to us about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been easy; there have been some bumps in the road for sure.

With life and everything changing and advancing, you have to keep up with the times. You always have to keep things fresh and self-promote.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a photographer. I do portraits, holiday sessions, birthday sessions, maternity, couples, and weddings.

I love to capture beautiful moments. I’m slowly adding film to my sessions. And professionally I’ve been an editor, graphic designer, and social media manager. It’s been a journey but I love it so much.

Is there anyone you’d like to thank or give credit to?
I have amazing, supportive family and friends who keep me on my toes, but before anything, God. Life hasn’t been easy. Some days are harder than others.

But most days, I can enjoy life because of my two sons. They are my heart and soul, and I’ll do anything for them and keep at it because of those adorable smiles and giggles.
