Hi Andrea, thanks for sharing your story with us. To start, maybe you can tell our readers some of your backstory.
Born in Argentina, raised in Paraguay, and armed with an accounting degree, I moved to New York in 2006 before settling in Houston in 2011—where I now call home.
While working as an Executive Housekeeper in River Oaks, I refined my eye for detail through setting dinner tables, arranging flowers, and styling seasonal décor. Friends and family often encouraged me to turn that passion into something more. After years of building confidence and honing my style, I launched my studio from my garage in October 2024 and introduced a flower bar where clients can hand-pick blooms to create custom centerpieces.
Today, I design bespoke arrangements for birthdays, weddings, baby showers, and celebrations of all kinds—each one crafted to bring color, joy, and personality to the moment. I’m deeply grateful for the support that helped me take this leap and excited to share my work with Houston’s hidden-gem community.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road—and in many ways, I’m still smoothing it. One of the biggest challenges has been finding clients and learning new ways to connect with people, especially in a crowded market. Showing potential clients that I can truly understand their vision and bring it to life takes time, trust, and visibility.
What keeps me going is my genuine passion for beauty and detail. Whether I’m creating a small arrangement or designing florals for a large wedding, I give the same level of care, creativity, and heart to every project. I believe that dedication shows, and little by little, it’s helping me build meaningful connections and grow.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
My work is rooted in creativity, care, and a deep passion for detail. I create floral arrangements for all types of occasions—from intimate gatherings to larger celebrations—as well as seasonal décor, with a special focus on Christmas installations.
I’m also known for my flower bar experience, where clients are invited to create arrangements alongside me, hand-selecting blooms and turning their ideas into something personal and meaningful. What I’m most proud of is seeing the joy and satisfaction on my clients’ faces when their vision comes to life.
What sets me apart is the intention I bring to every project. No matter the size of the event, I approach each design with the same level of dedication and creativity, making sure every detail feels thoughtful and special.
Do you any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
One of my favorite childhood memories is spending summers at my grandparents’ small ranch, surrounded by nature and all my cousins. We spent our days outdoors, playing freely, exploring, and enjoying the simple beauty of the countryside. Those summers were full of laughter, connection, and a sense of freedom that still inspires my love for nature today.
