Check Out Anna Svetlik De La Rosa’s Story

Today, we’d like to introduce you to Anna Svetlik De La Rosa.

Anna Svetlik De La Rosa

Hi Anna, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I took a trip down memory lane to see how I started this journey. Growing up, I always knew I would do big things. At a very young age, I enjoyed reading, writing, and researching in every capacity. That is where it all begins. When I got older, I set out on a journey to start building and developing other individuals’ businesses while learning in the process.

Then, eventually, it was my turn to step out on my own and build my empire. It took me a while to reach that point. Still, I am so grateful and thankful that I have had the opportunity over the last decade to embrace my entrepreneurial spirit and build my insurance firm from the ground up in 2011, start my blog and social media platforms in 2016, and now writing my lifestyle column in my home town newspaper and for the past year being the advertising director at The Bay City Tribune newspaper in 2023 to present.

I am still enjoying everything I built, and it continues to get better as time passes. That in itself has been a journey of self-discovery and has taught me how to not give up even when things get in my way. Not to mention, it has helped to have a long family line filled with entrepreneurs, successors, innovators, and community builders. They instilled in me stamina and drive at a very young age, and I learned that you can create anything from nothing, so get up and start working.

To sum it up, I would not have gotten to where I am today without years of learning, researching, failing, and failing some more. My mission in life is to inspire all individuals who cross my path, either in person, through my writing, or by following me on various platforms.

Let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what challenges have you had to overcome?
Absolutely not, lol I knew absolutely nothing when I first started out and I had a vision I wanted to bring to life. I researched what I needed to, hired out what I couldn’t do, and pressed forward with undying commitment, determination, and energy.

I didn’t want to share my ideas or plans and have people shoot them down, so I kept to myself most of the time. I wasn’t stopping myself from pursuing the ideas because I didn’t think I had what it took or received a “no” from a potential client. I kept going.

My brother committed suicide at the beginning of my journey, and that gave me fuel to keep on. I turned my pain into power. Then, I went through a divorce, and I still kept going. My motto is “If you have a vision for your life that everyone can’t see, that’s ok… Keep going.”

Thanks for sharing that. So, maybe you can tell us more about your work next?
I am multifaceted and have made it my life’s work to support, encourage, and inspire others. I have made a significant impact as a serial entrepreneur, life coach, motivational speaker, and the visionary behind the revolutionary “Empowering Blog and Community.”

I have an incredible amount of passion, resilience, and an unwavering dedication to making a positive impact on the lives of others. Over the years, I have had a profound effect on the lives of numerous women by creating a variety of enterprises, brands, and online platforms. I am the Owner/President of De La Rosa Insurance Services LLC which was voted as #1 Medical Insurance Firm for small business in Pearland, TX for the last 6 years in a row. I have more than 20+ years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, quality assurance, and acquisitions.

This extensive background allows me to provide valuable knowledge and expertise during my coaching sessions. I am mindset-focused on finding solutions and using practical strategies that have had a positive impact on the lives of numerous clients. My guidance has helped them achieve success and fulfillment in different areas of their lives. My philosophy centers around an intriguing mantra: “Don’t live in a life that others have created for you; build your own Life.” I believe in this guiding principle and share it with every individual I work with, motivating them to take charge of their future and build a life that genuinely fulfills them.

In January 2017, I started my “Empowering Blog and Community”. This platform is designed to inspire and showcase the elegance of women from diverse backgrounds, highlighting their strength and determination. The blog features in-depth interviews with women from all over the world, sharing their personal stories, challenges, and achievements. It aims to capture the unique essence and beauty of each individual.

What makes my blog unique is my talent for connecting with these remarkable women and truly understanding the essence of their stories. Not only do I highlight their achievements, but I also share personal revelations, showing how they transformed their pain into power. I have carefully chosen a group of women for this project. I have gone through the highs and lows of entrepreneurship, and this has given me a deep understanding of the difficulties that individuals encounter in today’s world.

In my blog, I not only share the impressive achievements of the people I interview but also provide valuable insights into the challenges and intricacies of following one’s dreams. I have been featured in various well-known publications and media outlets, including podcasts like Mantra Magazine, Thrive Global, Wall Street, CBS, Time Square, and many others. My goal is to share my stories, articles, and inspiring words of wisdom to help individuals strive for their goals.

My recent endeavor is becoming the weekly lifestyle columnist for The Bay City Tribune, her hometown newspaper. As well as the Director of Sales.
