Today we’d like to introduce you to Casho.
Hi Casho, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today.
So, being a student of the game, I unknowingly started preparing myself by studying the greats of music. Before I fell in love with it myself first. I always just loved the instruments. Jazz is how I started; the saxophone drove me to playing it myself, as well as the guitar. Shortly after, I wanted to become an instrument of my own. So, I started to write lyrics. Most of it didn’t rhyme, but I kept at it. The passion I have behind music is why I’m still here. Even if I were broke, I’d still make music and I think that’s the difference between me and anyone else doing music.
Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Never. And that’s what they don’t tell you. It’s never an easy road, and more than likely, it won’t go exactly how you planned. I never knew petty issues existed on a large-scale platform/Industry like this, but it’s becoming the norm now. I guess you take everything with a grain of salt.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
I’m a recording artist. I specialize in Songwriting, singing, rap, and acting. I’m known for songwriting and acting. Houston is such a large city, so for me to create a name for myself with those 2 attributes are still shocking to me. I’m most proud that I’m still going. No matter the accolades and milestones I have passed, I’m still hungry more as if I just started. That’s what sets me apart from others.
Before we go, is there anything else you can share with us?
I’d like for everyone to share more positivity through the world. Then maybe we can all enjoy the little luxuries again. Everything has such a major price on it now, even friendship. I want to bring Real Genuine love back.
