Check Out Chris Cade’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Chris Cade.

Chris Cade aka Chris vs. The World

Hi Chris, we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
Hello, I am Chris Cade aka Chris vs. The World. I am what you would call a media mogul. I have been involved in media ever since I was young. My sisters and I would create short films. We created a karate film, a superhero film, and many others. Once I reached high school, I started my own YouTube channel. I would do skits, advice videos, and many others. Back then, I didn’t realize what it meant to build a channel and look to the future. This caused me to get rid of my channel because I felt I wasn’t getting enough views or subscribers. Ultimately, I was comparing myself to others. This can be very dangerous, especially when it comes to media. Now that I am older, I have realized that building until you finish your building is key. Many of our favorite restaurants had a blueprint and knew that at the end of construction, they would have their completed building. Of course, there are hiccups along the way, but keeping that vision in front of you allows you to see it through to the end. Now that I have this mentality, my podcast, music career, and many other smaller ventures will reap me amazing benefits as long as I complete the construction process.

Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way? Looking back, would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I am a believer that life has smooth roads and rough roads, but that is just life. Any time you are trying to overcome or grow to a higher level, your road will have bumps in it. Many of my struggles were mental. There were many times that I would doubt myself. I would doubt if what I had to offer was good enough. I would compare myself to others. I would feel as though I wasn’t doing well in life based on the success others had. I finally had to decide to go forward no matter what anyone said. I am a Christian, and one of my favorite things that people would say in the Bible is “nevertheless.” I may doubt, fear, worry, etc., but I always try to add a “nevertheless” at the end of it. I decided that I had to go forward no matter how I felt or what it looked like.

Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I consider myself to be a media mogul, and at the center of it all is God and Kingdom Culture. I have a podcast called “The Bowl Podcast.” I am a Christian rapper/artist, and I have many other ventures that I have planned in the long run. I am most proud of my podcast because I am able to celebrate and hear from other artists and professionals. I am able to give my audience insight into careers that they may have thought of doing. The podcast helps to show another side of the artist or professional that you may not see when they are in their craft. The fact that I pull out of a bowl to determine the topic is a fun and spontaneous concept. It helps to bring out the most natural reactions. I believe what sets me apart is my ability to ask questions and connect with many different people. Also, I make sure to pray before each episode, which sets the atmosphere for the podcast. I believe that I am the only me in the world so there is no one that can copy what I do exactly like I do it.

What quality or characteristic do you feel is most important to your success?
I truly believe that my relationship with God is the quality that has brought me the most success. God has led me in every venture and opportunity. There have been things that seemed like good opportunities, but I passed on them because God was leading me away from that direction. I later found out that the “opportunity” was not as great as I thought. Because I listened to God, I was able to avoid it. My relationship with God also helps me because it keeps me humble and focused. It helps to give me perspective. I am able to see that what I want to do in life is always bigger than me. It is about my impact on the world. Since I’ve focused in on this fact, my level of success has grown.
