Today we’d like to introduce you to Courtney Appel
Hi Courtney, we’re thrilled to have a chance to learn your story today. So, before we get into specifics, maybe you can briefly walk us through how you got to where you are today?
AIS Dance started in 2023 with three moms that were all former dancers and dance educators looking for an outlet to help their daughters progress in dance. The three of us decided to open up AIS Dance in League City, Texas that fall. We quickly grew to serve four competitive teams that competed locally. Those teams respectfully took home many awards including Best in Class and Platinum Overall. Currently, AIS Dance is serving seven teams with the expansion of three divisions: Recreational, Developmental, and Competitive. We hold auditions in May for our Developmental and Competition Teams.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
One obstacle has been to keep up with the ever growing number of students that join our program.
Alright, so let’s switch gears a bit and talk business. What should we know about your work?
At AIS Dance, we specialize in cultivating and progressing dancers to dance beyond high school. We strive to prepare our dancers to dance wherever life takes them. Having our dancers take technique classes from Master Instructors locally and nation-wide is important for us to help mold our dancers. AIS Dance is made up of competitive dance teams.
