Check Out Daija Jones’s Story

Today we’d like to introduce you to Daija Jones.

Hi Daija, so excited to have you on the platform. So, before we get into questions about your work life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today.
I started out by doing my own nails. Multiple ladies asked me to do theirs & I thought absolutely not – but my husband was very encouraging in me starting my own craft. I started nails from home for a few years – and then went to college. I attended TCP Beauty Barber College and graduated with my license! I got into the craft of making custom press-ons and currently shipping all across the USA! I travel as well. I absolutely love seeing my vision or my client’s vision come to life! My sons are actively telling their friends I do nails, and my oldest even hands out business cards to the girls in his class! I definitely couldn’t do this without God & my family!

Alright, so let’s dig a little deeper into the story – has it been an easy path overall, and if not, what were the challenges you’ve had to overcome?
Every upcoming business owner has bumps in the road. It’s not about what the bumps are – it’s about how you overcome them. I would rather focus on not letting anyone or anything bring me down. I am destined for greatness! The key I have learned is to be patient and let things fall into place – do not rush anything! When it is meant, it will happen.

Appreciate you sharing that. What else should we know about what you do?
I specialize in freestyling artwork. My mind is always moving and coming up with new ideas and color schemes. Lately, I have been more involved with making my press-ons then normal. I love attending pop-up shops as a vender! I offer complimentary snack as well as alcohol & nonalcoholic drinks. Nothing but a good vibe!

Do you have any memories from childhood that you can share with us?
Going to my grandparents’ ranch riding four-wheelers, swimming in the river, and shooting targets with my sister! What a time to be alive!
