Hi Francesco , we’d love for you to start by introducing yourself.
I was born in Catania, Italy, and raised in Rome, where my passion for music began at a very young age. Although music was always part of my life, my professional journey wasn’t a straight line. After marrying my American wife, I moved to the United States, leaving behind everything I had built in Italy and starting over from scratch.
Building a career in a new country wasn’t easy. I began performing at small private events while continuing to study, practice, and refine the authentic Italian bel canto tradition that shaped me as a tenor. Over time, those performances led to larger corporate events, luxury events, and international audiences, allowing me to share the beauty of Italian music with people from all over the world.
As more people asked to study with me, I founded Francesco’s Music Studio in Houston. What started as a small music studio has grown into a team of talented teachers offering a wide range of music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. Alongside performing professionally as an Italian tenor and working as a piano technician and tuner, I became passionate about creating educational resources that could reach far beyond the classroom.
Today, that vision has expanded into publishing and online education. I have written instructional piano books for students and teachers, developed structured music education materials, and I’m building a complete series of educational publications designed to make quality music training accessible to everyone. At the same time, after years of performing and teaching, I created a comprehensive Italian Bel Canto course that goes far beyond vocal technique. It combines authentic Italian singing, breathing, musicianship, performance skills, healthy vocal habits, and the professional mindset developed through years of real-world experience on stage.
My mission is not only to preserve the authentic Italian vocal tradition but also to help musicians become complete artists. Whether through live performances, private lessons, books, or online courses, I hope to inspire others to discover their potential and develop a lifelong passion for music.
Looking back, I’m grateful for every challenge along the way. Starting over taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of never giving up on your dreams. Success doesn’t happen overnight—it comes from years of consistency, hard work, and a genuine love for what you do. Today, I’m proud to call Houston home, and I’m excited to continue performing, teaching, publishing educational materials, and sharing Italian musical excellence with students and audiences around the world.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I wouldn’t describe my journey as either completely smooth or especially difficult. Like any entrepreneur, I’ve had challenges, but I’ve always seen them as opportunities to grow rather than obstacles.
One of the biggest changes was moving from Italy to the United States and rebuilding my career from the ground up. I had to earn people’s trust, establish a reputation in a new country, and grow my business one student and one performance at a time. Along the way, I also had to adapt to living and working in different languages and cultures, communicating not only in Italian, but also in English and Spanish to better serve my students and clients.
I’ve learned that not every opportunity works out—and that’s okay. Sometimes a door closes, only to make room for an even bigger one to open. Looking back, many of the moments that initially felt like setbacks ended up leading me in a better direction.
Running a business while continuing to perform professionally, teach, write educational books, and develop online courses requires patience, consistency, and continuous learning. None of it happened overnight.
I truly believe that success isn’t usually the result of one life-changing moment. It’s built through discipline, persistence, and showing up every single day. If you stay committed to your goals, opportunities eventually find you.
Can you tell our readers more about what you do and what you think sets you apart from others?
I’m a professional Italian tenor, educator, entrepreneur, author, and piano technician. Music has always been at the center of my life, but I’ve always believed that sharing knowledge is just as important as performing.
Through Francesco’s Music Studio in Houston, my team and I provide high-quality music education for students of all ages and skill levels. We offer instruction in voice, piano, guitar, violin, drums, and many other instruments, creating a complete music school where students can develop their talents in a supportive and inspiring environment.
Alongside teaching, I regularly perform as an Italian tenor at high-end corporate events, black-tie galas, fundraising events, and exclusive private engagements, bringing the elegance and timeless tradition of Italian music to distinguished audiences across the United States.
One area I’m especially passionate about is education. Over the years, I’ve developed structured piano methods, written instructional music books, and created comprehensive educational resources for musicians. My newest project is a complete Italian Bel Canto program designed to preserve and teach the authentic vocal tradition of Italy. Rather than focusing only on singing technique, it also covers breathing, musicianship, performance skills, vocal health, lifestyle, and the professional mindset required to become a complete artist.
What sets me apart is that I combine real-world performance experience with years of teaching, educational development, and entrepreneurship. Everything I create—whether it’s a live performance, a private lesson, a book, or an online course—is based on techniques I’ve personally refined throughout my career. My goal is not only to teach music but to help people become confident, expressive, and well-rounded musicians.
What I’m most proud of is seeing how music changes people’s lives. Whether it’s a child taking their very first lesson, an adult rediscovering a lifelong passion, or a singer gaining the confidence to perform on stage, helping others grow is the most rewarding part of my career. Knowing that my work continues through my students, my team of teachers, my books, and my educational programs is something I’m incredibly grateful for, and it motivates me to keep creating, performing, and sharing the beauty of music every day.
What are your plans for the future?
I’m incredibly excited about the future because I feel like this is only the beginning. While I’ll always continue performing as an Italian tenor, my long-term vision is much bigger than my own career.
My goal is to continue expanding Francesco’s Music Studio into an internationally recognized music education brand. I want to build a global network of teachers and partner schools that use the Francesco’s Music Studio teaching method, both for instrumental music education and for authentic Italian Bel Canto training.
I’m also continuing to develop a complete library of educational books and online courses, making high-quality music education accessible to students anywhere in the world. My hope is that teachers, schools, and music academies across different countries will one day use these materials as part of their own educational programs.
At the same time, I plan to continue performing at prestigious corporate events, black-tie galas, and special engagements, sharing the beauty and elegance of Italian music with audiences across the United States and internationally.
Ultimately, I want to create something that outlives me. A great performance can inspire people for an evening, but a great educational system can inspire generations of musicians. If, years from now, students around the world are learning through the Francesco’s Music Studio method and carrying that tradition forward, I’ll feel that I’ve accomplished something truly meaningful.
