Today we’d like to introduce you to Guadalupe Figueroa.
Alright, so thank you so much for sharing your story and insight with our readers. To kick things off, can you tell us a bit about how you got started?
I started creating content in September 2024, focusing on fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. I’ve always been very connected to social media, loving videos and photography, so I decided to give it a try, even though video speaking has never been my strength. Little by little, I grew and began collaborating with brands, creating authentic content that helped me improve my video and production skills. Throughout the process, I learned a lot about managing social media and how to monetize it through Redso, a platform that teaches you everything from setting up your account to building your brand and monetizing it, including strategies for communicating with brands and other key aspects of growing as a content creator.
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
It hasn’t been a completely smooth road. At first, it was challenging because I wasn’t very comfortable speaking on camera. I also struggled with the fear of what others might think and letting those doubts hold me back. Over time, I realized that you have to let go of those fears if you want to grow. Learning how to film, edit, and improve my videos took time and effort, and building trust with brands also came with its own challenges. But each step helped me grow, learn, and become more confident as a content creator.
Thanks – so what else should our readers know about your work and what you’re currently focused on?
I create content focused on fashion, beauty, and lifestyle. I specialize in creating authentic and visually appealing videos and photos that genuinely connect with people. What I’m most proud of is how much I’ve grown in such a short time, improving my skills, building relationships with brands, and staying true to my style. What sets me apart is my authenticity; I always aim to create content that feels real and relatable, not forced or overly produced.
Are there any books, apps, podcasts or blogs that help you do your best?
Yes, Redso has been a valuable resource for me. It’s a platform that guides creators step by step, from setting up your account to building your brand and monetizing it. It has helped me understand how to work with brands and grow authentically.
